Pakistan: Police attack workers in Karachi

The workers of Dadu and Thatha sugar mills are continuing to protest against the non payment of their wages. They organised a peaceful demonstration on 13 May and tried to march towards the Chief Minister?s residence in Karachi. Riot police attacked the peaceful demonstrators and arrested at least 45 workers.
