To whom it may concern,
As Socialist Party Councillor for Yarra, the home of the Spanish speaking community of Melbourne, I call on the Venezulean Government to get their Labour Minister to intervene on behalf of workers in the RACE dispute.

Here in Australia we face bosses’ attacks, backed by a right-wing capitalist government of Prime Minister John Howard. Many workers are aware that in Venezulea workers have a leftwing government that opposes neo-liberalism and attacks on unions.

We hope that these beliefs are put into action and the revolutionary government of President Chavez acts for the workers, not the bosses.
