Ireland: The history and politics of the Socialist Party
As part of their Politics 101 series, Dublin’s Anna Livia FM recently interviewed Mick Murphy, the Socialist Party councillor for the Tallaght ward. Mick outlined the history of the Socialist Party from its origins as the Militant Tendency in the Irish Labour Party to today. He also disccused the politics and policies of the party, and talked about his time in prison during the Bin Tax struggle and his role in uncovering the GAMA scandal.
