Details for November 15th actions in Melbourne
Tomorrow week, Tuesday 15th November, is the date of the mass rally against Howard’s IR changes. The rally starts at 9am at Federation Square to hear speakers, then to march up Swanston St, into La Trobe St, to Exhibition Gardens. Then more speeches, a BBQ, and then off to the Comrades Bar.
In the afternoon the ETU has called a ‘Great Debate’ in the Comrades Bar (Swanston St, Carlton South) as to who should represent workers politically. A SP member will be chairing the meeting and we will have one speaker.
WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR THE DAY. We meet at 8am at Federation Square for the rally for a big day of work. We want to raise $2000 in fighting fund. It will be a big day for contacts and the push for a new workers party and showing the ruling class the potential power of the working class.
