Irish socialist MP to tour Australia

Joe Higgins, Socialist Party TD for Dublin West, is to tour Australia in August. He will be speaking to the Irish community, trade unionists, at workplace and campus meetings and at public meetings in Perth, Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne. He has jailed last year for his part in the to stop the anti-working class bin tax in Dublin. He will address the Socialist Party National Conference in Melbourne on Saturday August 21st.
