This Wednesday July 27 the Melbourne Branch of SP will host a public meeting - The lessons of the Eliott dispute. Both Kerin and Main were witnesses at the trial of Melbourne boss Anthony Eliott who violently drove a truck through a picket line nearly killing workers. Eliott ended up getting off without even a slap on the wrist! This meeting will discuss all the political, legal and organisational issues surrounding the dispute.
