Victoria’s best community radio station, 3CR (855AM) is currently holding its annual fundraising event – Radiothon 2008. The Socialist Party calls on all of our supporters to dig deep and donate to this important community asset.

For over thirty years 3CR has covered stories of working class struggle, supported progressive causes and promoted locally produced independent music. 3CR is not controlled by the government or funded by corporate advertising. 3CR is totally owned by its members and supporters!

3CR is home to around 300 volunteer programmers who present more than 130 programs that go to air each week. If you would like to donate to a particular show SP recommends Solidarity Breakfast which airs every Saturday morning from 7.30am – 9.00am. Solidarity Breakfast is Australia’s premier show covering industrial relations and progressive issues.
