NZ: Marxism 2008 conference this weekend
The Workers Party in New Zealand is holding their annual Marxism conference from May 30th - June 1st. Over the course of the weekend there will be a number of interesting talks and discussions. The conference will feature local and international speakers including Socialist Party National Organiser, Anthony Main who will speak on Australia.
Other highlights include a speaker from Nepal talking about the Maoists recent election success and a panel discussion on resistance to imperialism in the Philippines, South Africa, Afghanistan and Cuba. There will also be a discussion with a former member of the Polynesian Panthers.
Matt McCarten from the Unite Union in New Zealand will also speak on workers resistance in New Zealand.

The venue for the entire conference is the Grey Lynn Community Centre.
