Don’t miss the public events during this years Socialist Party National Conference in Melbourne. It starts this Friday night 7pm at Trades Hall, Carlton South with a debate on ‘Where is Australia going’ with Greens candidate for seat of Melbourne Adam Bandt; Union Solidarity leader, Dave Kerin and Socialist Party councillor Stephen Jolly.

The following morning at 10am, also at Trades Hall we have a session on the international political situation with Denise Dudley, just back from Venezuela, talking about developments in Latin America, plus Anthony Main speaking on Iraq, the world economy, China, and our region.

On Saturday night, from 7pm, also at Trades Hall we have the Corinne Grant-hosted Trivia Night with profits to be split between the Save St. Andrews Kindergarten campaign and the Atherton Gardens Residents Association. Tickets $20 or $5 concession. Ring (03) 96399111 to book a ticket.
